CAP Newly Renovated Thrift Store – Find Gently Used Items and Help Save a Life

CAP is committed to sheltering, rescuing and placing homeless animals in loving homes. CAP advocates respect and compassion for all animal life – they speak for those who cannot speak for themselves. CAP also provides humane education to prevent animal cruelty and raise awareness in the community of the needs of animals.

To fulfill their mission, CAP has developed and established many successful programs and services to enhance the lives of pets and people in the Greater Houston Area and surrounding counties. Some of these programs are unique in Houston, such as their Weekend Sponsor Program and Feral Cat Assistance Program (FCAP). As an animal shelter, they have one of the highest adoption rates in the country and take pride in taking great care of the animals residing at the shelter.

CAP also has a newly renovated Thrift Store (located in the old CAP space) and sells gently used and brand new items of all types. They accept donations every day of the week and all proceeds from both ventures directly benefit CAP’s sheltered animals.

The Thrift Store welcomes most donated items including collectibles, glassware, furniture, ‘working’ appliances, clothing if clean and ‘on hangers’ and most any item in good and working condition. Contact the CAP Thrift Store for more information.
